For those that aren’t on X, Peanut was a squirrel rescued as a baby seven years ago, and raised in captivity by Mark Longo. Peanut (and Mark) became an Instagram sensation with over a half million followers. Peanut lived with another rescued pet named Fred, who was a raccoon.

Mark runs a non-profit animal rescue and sanctuary. Someone decided to report Mark to NY State authorities for this.

The New York State police raided Mark’s home this week:

  • A total of 10 officers raided his house
  • He and his wife were not allowed to use bathroom alone
  • He was not allowed to feed his other rescue animals
  • They interrogated his wife about her immigration status
  • There were search warrants from 4 bureaucratic departments, including FISA.

This week, despite massive public outcry – both Peanut and Fred were murdered by the New York State Environmental police. Their crime was living in captivity.

To be clear:
“Based on the search results, it is extremely rare for squirrels to contract rabies. The data suggests that squirrels are not considered vectors of rabies and have never been known to transmit the disease to humans.”

In the end, this is not about a squirrel. It is all about government overreach, illegal and overbearing search and seizure, arbitrary and capricious bureaucracies.

Has our republic really been reduced to murdering pet squirrels?

Now Rep. Nancy Pelosi claims Horrid Harris won the Democrat nomination in an “open primary.” Which of course, is just more lying and a rather absurd untruth.

Could Orwell ever have believed that doublespeak could be so bold? Or that anyone would actually fall for such propaganda? But one can hear her lies and listen to the audience clapping enthusiastically in response!

This is probably why none of the major MSM outlets except Fox, choose to cover the story. They know this kind of outright lyin isn’t going to work for the persuadable middle and they are all in -in helping Horrid Harris win.

Pelosi is working the “D” base in the video above to get them excited about a candidate with all the appeal of a glass of water. This is all about turn-out on November 5th and before.

Remember, Pelosi once said.

“This glass of water with a “D” would win in those districts.”

Note that CNN initially framed this assassination attempt as a “fall” by Trump, seeking to make a false equivalency between an assassination attempt on Trump and Biden’s many falls.

We have a president who is unable to work off hours, so briefing of the assassination attempt on a Presidential candidate will have to wait until later in the day…

Remember, according to the White House, Biden can only function in his official duties between 10 AM and 4 PM. This is unacceptable.

Of course, even as the AP reports on this story, the AP fails to address this important element. Instead, the AP chose to highlight a photo of Biden walking down the stairs unassisted, as if we should be impressed.

This attempt at killing Trump has left me a little shaken. I suppose the assassinations of JFD, Bobby Kennedy, and MLK – penetrated my young brain in a way that left an indelible impression.

Let us not forget that one attendee of the rally is dead and 2 other people are critically injured.

Schiff’s Censure 

To have a formal declaration of “censure” from the House does not necessarily mean removal or even penalties. So far, Schiff has gotten off lightly. 

Schiff was placed in the “well” of Congress, while House speaker Kevin McCarthy read the entire censure resolution. All the while, House democrats were yelling so loudly that McCarthy could not be heard above the din. 

Schiff’s punishment also includes investigation into his actions by the House Ethics Committee. 

So stay tuned, this isn’t over yet.
